Licenses
Lifecraft is built on open data, open-source software and openly-licensed assets. Here is what powers it — and under which license.
3D anatomy model
CC BY-SA (ShareAlike)The interactive anatomy model is derived from BodyExplorer, which merges mesh data from BodyParts3D (© The Database Center for Life Science, CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan) and Z-Anatomy (CC BY-SA 4.0). Because these assets are ShareAlike, any distributed derivative — and this application when bundled with the model — remains under a CC BY-SA-compatible license, with attribution preserved.
Exercise library
Public Domain (Unlicense)The Gym library's exercises — names, categories, equipment, muscles, instructions and the movement-frame photos — come from free-exercise-db, released into the Public Domain under the Unlicense. Free to use, modify and redistribute.
Open-source software
Permissive (MIT / Apache-2.0 / BSD)Lifecraft is built with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, three.js and react-three-fiber, Drizzle ORM, Hono, Better Auth, next-intl and many other open-source libraries, each distributed under its own permissive license. Our thanks to their maintainers.
Typeface
SIL Open Font LicenseThe interface uses Geist, the open-source typeface by Vercel.
